Head Coach
Debra Suderman tried rowing for the first time in Germany when she was 15 years old. She didn’t get in a boat again for almost 10 years until she start rowing as a varsity athlete at the University of the Fraser Valley. She competed for 3 years and the Canadian University Rowing Championships and started coaching novice athletes after her first year. She has now been coaching for 12 years and has a passion for sharing the sport she loves so much. Debra is a Learn to Row Certified Instructor and a RCA Community Coach Certified Instructor. She takes every opportunity possible to continue her coaching development to make sure her athletes are getting the best coaching she can give them.
